"Jonathan is a delight a teacher. I was very late into getting into music, despite enjoying in since being a small child. And what regret I feel from not taking up lessons sooner is washed away by how awesome and encouraging he is as a teacher. I feel like in the last few years I've been a regular student, I have seen a progrss I wouldn't have thought possible. Going from wanting to just learn to play the piano to now wanting to release music to the world is such a wonderful feeling. I couldn't recommend Jonathan enough!"

"I'm only choosing 5 stars because 6 aren't available (or 7 or 8 or 10...). Cannot recommend enough, Jonathan is incredibly knowledgeable, patient (thankfully for moi) and has a great sense of humour! I'm an adult who has been playing music for over 10 years on bass and guitar mainly but had long yearned to play keyboard semi-well too. I was entirely casually self-taught also so my music theory was severely lacking to say the least. Since I started my lessons with Jonathan a few months back he has packed every single session full of information, context and examples all catered to what I want to get out of playing the keyboard. Bit by bit I can feel the (many) gaps in my basic theory knowledge getting filled and Jonathan knows just how to encourage or give constructive crticism of my playing in the right way without applying any pressure. I look forward to each lesson and am having such joy playing, practicing and learning. I cannot thank and cannot recommend this chap enough!"

"Guitar Lessons Beginner- Jonny is incredibly insightful and delivers great detail about the guitar and musicians, shown when we rotate from lessons on Musical history, Musical theory and then practicals. I have previous experience on piano, but Jonny has allowed for me to see things in a different perspective and actively challenges my knowledge and encourages me to challenge his. I am more confident and comfortable with every lesson on not just how to play, but ways to memorise and construct new pieces! He is flexible on what to go through in the lessons and always asks for my opinion on where I would like to cover so I get the most out of each one. He is open, honest and a great laugh! 5 star teacher!"

"We (me and John) have had three lessons at my home with Jonathan and Iboth absolutely love it. We are complete beginners and we're a little nervous to begin with but Jonathan is very pleasant, patient and supportive and it's a lovely relaxed and enjoyable hour. He is very knowledgeable and happy to answer questions or clear up ambiguities and gives clear instructions and relevant information. It's great fun as Jonathan has a good sense of humour too. We are already making real progress and I'm so excited about my new hobby. I would highly recommend him."
